Hi everyone! I am so happy that I am meeting you on my fishing blog. I’m Louella. I passionately enjoy fishing and visiting different fishing spots to get to learn about new fishing techniques, strategies and get the golden opportunity of meeting other anglers who are into leisure fishing and sports fishing in some cases.
One of my favorite lakes in Minnesota
I started fishing back in the year 2007. When I started leisure fishing back then, I didn’t know I would be so passionate about it like I am today. I live in Minnesota, and one day I accompanied my dad on his small boat to go for a fishing adventure. I really enjoyed the experience, and from that particular day, I knew what I wanted to do in my life.
I wanted to have my own fishing gear and upgrade my fishing passion to a whole new level. Unfortunately, I had very little idea about what I wanted to do. Due to my lack of skills or any prior experience with fishing at all, I really had to struggle. My fishing gears were not the perfect types of gears I needed, and I never caught any fish at times. I knew that I wanted to improve my fishing skills and with enough patience and dedication, I could be one of the best anglers and catch as many fish as I wanted.
Guess what? That is exactly what I did!

When I started my fishing adventure, it wasn’t like laying on the beach. There weren’t that many fishing blogs available, and this forced me sometimes to visit most successful anglers and enquire from them about their success stories. I had to visit many stores, Amazon site that selling fishing gears of many brands to find out the best products to use when fishing and their pros and cons.
